Last week in my Weekly Studio Sketchbook Club, we created this beautiful spread of Bees & Beehives and when I posted it on Instagram, I was literally inundated with requests for this to be the next online module.

As it has also just been National Bee Day, I couldn’t see how I could possibly I refuse!

I really think that this makes one of my all-time favourite sketchbook spreads.

I hope you enjoy this module as much as we all did, don’t forget to use the hashtag #SketchbookClubBees so I can see them all.

Materials

Materials needed:

  • HB pencil
  • Rubber
  • Watercolour set
  • Size 1 paintbrush
  • Coloured Pencils (which I forgot to mention in the video – sorry!)
  • Black fine liner pen

Optional materials:

  • White Gel Pen
